It was a really cold morning here in Ohio, and when I looked outside the view was just incredible. All the trees and bushes had a frost on them and it was just glowing. We had some really weird weather with rain, ice, snow, then ice again and in the morning this is what was left. I drove to my favorite spot and started shooting. I ended up taking about 100 shots because of how beautiful it was. It was really hard to choose because I loved lots of em, but I really liked the composition in this one. I really wanted everyone to get (hopefully) the same feeling I did when I saw this. Hope everyone enjoys.
Adjustments:
Shot in Raw at 3 exposures. 1/500, 1/2000, 1/4000
Used Photomatix and Tonemapped.

| Ahhh....Ohio does have its moments :) If you like snow shots, we should be in luck this weekend huh? This is so beautiful. I can understand why you wanted to take many shots and capture just the right feeling. Nicely seen, photographed and edited. Not as crazy about the heavy border, however. Nice finish and score out of a large field of wonderful shots. |

| Really great shot. Will check back after the challenge, I want to learn how to take shots like this. Maybe it's as simple as finding the right subject, but curious as to lighting and settings. |
