| Oh my God that's so disturbing and funny at the same time. All the other pictures are so serious and then I came across this and laughed for 5 minutes straight. |

| the blood seems a little too bright to be real, the bird should be turned onto his side to make it as real as possibe. birds when dead usually arent flat on their backs. I think that you shoudl have moved the bird to a less noisy background and it wouldnt distract away from the blood and bird. there is a lot of pink in the breast of this bird, maybe sponging it and with saturation would have brought out teh pinks and the blues |

| To me, blood and death do not equal peace, even if the bird has gone on to his eternal rest. This particular image conveys violence with all the blood, and the selective desat just emphasizes the gore. I feel much more uncomfortable than peaceful gazing at it. Technically it is an effective image; I just don't find that it meets the challenge topic at all for me. |

| A dead bird with blood does NOT seem peaceful to me. The harsh lighting and selective desat both work against my seeing anything peaceful in this image. |
