The background is too washed out and bright it draws attention away from your subject and makes it look darker. Maybe shooting in a different time of day or different angle would help.

Bicycle in the back is kind of distracting, also your model has the handlebar stuck in her ear

The background is very washed out as a result of the sun coming in the window. Shooting at a different time of day might have been better.

the windows in the background take away from this.

I think the bike behind the chair is a little distracting from the main subject

I love this concept! It may have been improved a bit by simplifying the background - having something out the windows other than white light.

Yes, she looks peaceful and relaxed. I find the bicycle distracting, especially the handlebar growing out of her ear.

She doesn't look so at peace at all. It's difficult to pick up a message of peace from a smile so insignificant.

Hmmm... Feels like a bit of a shoehorn.

It is a nice photo, but doesn't do much for me to be honest. I find the bike to be a major distraction, and the subject is a bit too dark while the background is majorly blown out. I apologize if this offends, but hopefully you take this as constructive criticism.

if the subjects face was at a profile the lighting would have worked better for you

Nice pose. I think it would be better without the bike. The light through the windows is kind of harsh also.

Love the funky rainbow coloured bike in the background - adds to the feeling of the photo.

I feel the light from the window is too overwhelming and the bicycle is distracting. If you had taken it in very low light it would have a greater feeling of peace.
