 I decided to to an image from a recent challenge that I didn't do to well myself. I was not far off the brown ribbon, and on the last page with my image.

I choose to re do the brown ribbon entry from the "Foreground Bokeh" challenge, 14-11-2007.

The image was called "Pinecone Sunlight" by Pitakid10

I do hope my image is one people will enjoy. I finally photographed an image with foreground Bokeh, with my new Canon 180mm Nacro lens.

I love this pretty and "natural" arrangement. This has a beautiful balance of color and texture.

Nice and bold. I like it, thought it still seems to be missing something. I think it may just have a bit to much space on the left side. A tighter crop may have worked a touch better for me.

I like the simple clean lines you are achieved here, the pine cones sit well. Maybe a little saturated. It looks like it was a rainy day

very nice remake, love your colors, brightness and contrast. may be a little oversharpened, but dpc responds well to that, great bokeh too btw, I love the circles in the background

This is too harsh for my taste... especially the green background on the left. and the green stuff in front of that.
I'd also like to have seen the lower left pinecone in full focus.

it's a pinecone, but there's the end of similarities. good shot for itself, nice color and DOF
