 Original by shrimptacular, same title, bokeh II.
Looked for similar scene, but this one presented itself, and noticed only on downloading the convenient "the bar" sign - so that will have to be the blurry. Sorry no bokeh. Could be some sad.
Fine rotation, crop curves, USM, some smudging to get out white flecks here and there, resize and sharpen.

I would have changed the depth of field so as not to see the tree trunk right in the middle.

Okay, the fact that your lost childhood includes the local bar is a bit scary, but also makes the photo more interesting, I admit.

I think you've captured the feel that the original photographer was trying to create. I think this photo is a hard one to redo in the first place. maybe doing more of a close-up to a particular piece of playground equipment could have given this more interest. I think you did a great job keeping the focus and the lighting good with such a dark (outside) photo

A softer focus or smaller DoF would better suit the title (or a blur of kids playing on the equipent)

a lot better than the original, but overall a bit dark. had also cropped off the right quarter to get rid of the "bar" sign (even if that makes sense in a way). soft focus would have been good, to keep the "blurry" part
