First impressions: Focus seems to be in the right place, on the eyes
Composition: I feeling that the image is a little too static. This is probably because Kitters is a little too central. By cropping a little on the right I think would help that. The image could probably have been made more dynamic by using her front paw as a leading line into the image. As it is the paw goes across the image.
Exposure: Shooting into bright light can be a real challenge. I think fill flash or a reflector would have helped hear a great deal. As it is Kitters face is a little dark.
Impact: I think impact is lost since Kitters face is dark.
There is sparkle in the eye which is always good in a portrait.
Have fun, keep shooting.
Cheers!

Very nice texture in the fur. Pity the light was so strong in the background, it takes away from the cool-looking fur. |

If this had some fill flash, it would be perfect. It's a stunning pose, beautiful cat, and good composition. It's also nice and sharp. |
