This is a really marvelous post process. It retains a lot of detail, especially in the eyes. It did get hammered for scores, but still glad you put it in for us to enjoy and see a different type of processing. Glad you are willing to experiment, of course. Interesting and stimulating |

This photograph is a lot better than the score it received. It is nice to see a different approach. I wish people were a little more open minded. The only constructive criticism I have is that the photograph appears bottom heavy since there isn't much negative space below the dogs head compared to the negative space up top.

Love the post processing. It gives your dog more of that staunch personality which fits the breed well. Veryy cool. Surprised it did so poorly. |

Terrific picture - and yes it got hammered - Oh, me...
You could have done this for led zep - the graphic high contrast gives you a figurative dimension. Good stuff. |

I love the graphic quality of this. I gave this a 7 and then never got back to my 7s for bumps. |

Love the effect. Seems perfect for the subject. Looks almost like a wood block print. |

I like the effort at an artistic b/w look, but It's not appealing to me. I think it is the posterized look and almost 1/2 his face being hidden in shadows. |

I think this "grunge" look would have worked a little better if the lighting had been different. The darkness takes away from the nice expression on the dog's face. |

This is fascinating to me - the effect is an almost human visage emerging. |

I'm not fond of the processing. Good on you though for trying something different. |

Too much editing for my taste. You've lost all definition in the lower right corner. But, if the upper right corner were black as well, that might give you a very interesting design. |

The processing doesn't work for me in a photo contest. Too much lost detail on the left side of his face, in my opinion. |

Wow, this is really high contrast or sharpened extensively. Interesting choice in PP. |
