This really is a beautiful shot of a gorgeous animal - I like the outtakes as well, but this one is just so very sweet!

8 - Nice character captured in Cecil. The marks in the background distract a little, as does the color to a degree, given those eyes. Nice sharp focus. This is a whisker away (pun intended) from an 8, so it goes up to 8 from 7.

Gotta admit I'm not a fan of all the cat face shots, but this one is great. So much character and feeling in his face. Cool cat.

Feels very much like a studio portrait. Blue might not have been my choice for a background but it does bring out eye color a bit. Overall, well done.
