Wow, such detail. I believe I have never seen a snake this close. Look at all those holes in his face, one must be for breathing, but what is the other one?

I'm curious as to where you took this. I'm sure they've got this type of snake at every zoo in the country, but its just ironic that i uploaded this image recently:

Lovely detail in the scales and eye and nice use of shallow DOF to make the snakes coils the frame for it's head.
