This was my first thought when I saw this challenge. NOt sure how high this will rate, some people may think yellow is the primary color, but it fits the challenge to me. Sorry to those who really had great orange ideas with the actual fruit---I did too! Enjoy!

The shot was taken very primitively, with white paper and a light source from the front casting the black shadow on black paper. This is my first ever try at a "studio" shot.

Clever idea. The title and execution could be better.

clever, but the compostiion might have been better if the focus wasn't on the brown of the bannana, and the bannana was more colored in....just my thoughts....

The focus seems a bit odd to me, drawing your attention to brown end of the banana rather then the orange in the photo. I like the contrast with the white and the black.

TI'd like to see more focus on the word crayola. When you have eyes or words, it's always a good place to focus

I actually thought of something like this, but didn't do it. :)

I am glad you didn't use an orange. Did you mean for the end of the banana to be the focal point for the entire photo? 'Cause that's what you ended up with... The composition isn't too bad, but I don't care for the orange scribbles.

Amusing, and also well executed. Love the framing in particular.

why is the focus made on the end of the banana?
because here the story of the shot starts... ok. but... the whole of the shot is simply not working... the focus is too brutal and doesn't let me follow the shape of the banana to reach the orange colour...

Humor! I get it, no I don't. Funny thing, humor. Gives me a great idea for this challenge though..too late. Dip friuts in orange paint and hang to dry on a clothesl line, pic as things drip. Next time!
