the sharpness of your photo makes it stand out |

Shadows are too harsh, and rock in foreground doesn't add anything to the composition. |

almost a beautiful image in spite of the gruesome-ness of the subject.. The lighting just starts being a bit harsh around the neck.. This might have looked nicer in duotone or b/w.. |

The image of a dead bird is not especially appealing to me, but it is a powerful message about pollution. That said, I wish that you had removed the stick on the right and the rock in the lower left. That stick is really distracting. Also if you had tried some different angles (not that you didn't), you may have found a more interesting composition besides dead centre (no pun;). The way the bird's head is tucked under its wing creates some extra emotional impact IMO. |

This is a good image for this shoot. It shows how messed up our world can be. This shows a lot of detail. |

I really like these "reaction to pollution" photographs, i think they send an important message. The composition is nice but maybe there could have been more obvious signs in the photograph that would lead someone to believe pollution was the cause of death. Otherwise it just looks like a dead bird... |

Such a shame. A very powerful shot. It uses real emotion to push the point across. |

clear and focused subject but the lighting is a problem I think, also is that the water behind the subject? if so the depth of field could have been deeper |

Shows pollution well, probably not to everyone's taste but it does work for the challenge. |
