 This was one of the first shots taken with my new Macro lens.. I love the gradient that formed between the green leaf edge and the black backgound... Please share your thoughts

I suppose that some might not find this blurry (or messy) enough, but I like it - the abstract quality appeals to me. My only quibble is that I'm not fond of the double border, although I can see why you might have chosen it - to make a sharper cutoff between the green on the left side and the white border, I'm guessing. One of my 9s.

Well, there's a lot of out of focus blur here, but I'm not finding it too chaotic. A nice plant macro, and I like it, but I don't find it meeting the challenge, I'm afraid.

A good traditional approach to blur - almost more soft focus. Pleasing presentation though rather well organized and calm versus chaotic.
