More definition than I thought could work for this challenge, but this definitely does. There is mess and chaos in the background and it's blurry and ... quite pleasing to my eye. Nice work.

Intersting. The background is blurry and messy, but your two foregorund creatures are not. They seem to be competing for attention (subjects versus background).

Cropping in on the upper bird may have been better, but then you would not have as much of the blurry mess showing. This challenge is so hard to vote on, and even tougher to comment...

just like a painting! the strong color behind the white birds make for a nice separation from the foreground and background blur. I don't know why but the background reminds of garbage and the photo takes me back to those fun days as a kid when my dad would take me to the dumps and as I had the pleasure of throwing away old junk out of the back of the truck the sea gulls would fly by looking for meals.
