At first glance my mind jumped to 'yup, another featureless blurry photo' but then I read the title and the image took on instant meaning. Very nice use of the blur to show a sense of urgency.

very effective but if stairs had been slightly in focus, could get a greater sense of urgency with foot. 7

Love the concept!! I'm glad the blur has a purpose. Would really benefit from more color/contrast.

this isn't engaging to me at all. It's a picture of a shoe, blurry or not. If there was some way to portray panic or haste the theme of "emergency exit" would work a lot better.

The foot leads, but to where? I like this. I'm not entirely fond of the color cast but it does speak of dimly lit stairwells.

Good blur and makes me feel chaotic/panic b/c I'm there running away. One complaint though is that I really think the border is distracting.
