I like the squiggly edge of the tape. I would have given up on this shot long before posting, since I would have been trying to clone out all of the dust. The yellow is great! |

The yellow screams out and it wonderful I like the details in the core of the roll as well as the inside of said core. |

I like the image but wonder if you were to play with the balance a bit you might really bring out the texture of the tape. It is there, can see it a little, but I think it would make the image pop a bit more if you could really see it. |

Another wonderful macro from you! You have been doing a great job with this macro side challenge. Nice curves and contrast in color and shape in this image. |

Focus is crisp. I think the dust makes it look like the tape isn't 'floating' on nothing, although some may find it distracting. |

Love the colours and the crispness. If this were cleaned up it would make for a very nice image. A good stock image, perhaps. |

Great color reproduction. Super clarity in light and shadows. Crisp focus and nice crop. The dust on the black surface adds a great dimension to the whole. Impressed with DOF choice a lighting/exposure. A great macro capture for technicals. Would be hammered in challenges based on subject and a perceived lack of some redeeming underlying and unspoken message, but certainly a 6 from me in a Yellow, Rubber, Household or Tools challenge. |
