 A couple of weeks ago I took some shots of a lake at sunset which I would have loved to be able to replicate for this challenge... but it was not to be. I couldn't get there and almost let this one go. Tried some arty macro shots though and quite liked this one so thought I'd give it a try.

Good choice with focus on this one, just enough DOF to get the lines and shapes without having anything sharp. The color also works out really well

very close to simply being oof, but it does seem to have some blur. good colours,

Those are some mighty beautiful colors! I'm such a sucker for warm tones...9 Ps. I like the composition as well and the "just enough" lines to draw attention throughout the photo as well so it isn't just your colors I like.

Edit, well I'm back already and I gotta say this deserves a 10 rather than 9.

I love the flower. The blurriness really makes this photo amazing. I love doing flowers this way.
