This is a photo of an Ethanol plant in Chatham, Ontario.
I find it a bit ironic that Ethanol is being touted as a Green technology, yet the polution that this plant puts out is staggering. Not to mention, Ethanol is a very inefficient fuel, and uses up tons of corn for a small amount of produced fuel. Some criticize Ethanol as merely a money grab for large agri-business. It's a very complex issue.
Anyway, this was shot late in the day with a polarizing lens. The vignetting in the upper left corner is due to my cheap CPOL :).
Editting included levels, overall colour balance, shadows/highlights, UM, cropping, Neat Image, resize, etc.

| very nice job catching the smoke. i also like the hint of cyan in the photo overall. although looking at sharpening halo around birds, seems like you went a bit overboard with sharpening on birds. |

| This is a good photograph. It shows the movement of the pollution very well. Great image even if it wasn't for pollution. |
