I truly thought this would score much higher. It was one of my highest scoring shots in this challenge - I think it's great. |

The contrast between the sharp focus of the curved lines leads my eye into and out of the 'blurry mess' and that makes this picture work very well for me. Perhaps a tighter crop eliminating the line from the lower left side over to the right side of the photos would not have drawn my attention away from the softening of the sharply curved lines radiating through the colorful rosemary. I also like the 'composure' of the the straight lines coming from the middle left side into the first and second of the curved lines going up and coming together at the top of the photo. Fun to look at and to ponder how did you do this? |

Neat idea. Nice colors and texture here and it meets the challenge well. |

I like this one. Would have liked it better without glass pattern. |

A very clever use of an "overlay" - nice! |

I'm really happy to see such creativity in such a tough challenge - and will mention the elements that stand out here. Creative use of blurriness, slightly messy (probably not enough for most voters), and would have benefitted from the glass being completely shattered somehow. I'll add this two cents: the subject isn't much in the way of engaging, but it was interesting enough for me to take a few minutes here. I appreciate an inventive entry - many were simply a "mess". Good job! |

Interesting way of taking this challenge, I like how the shatter lines take your eye through the photo. However, I do think it seems a little to "put together" for my taste, and only in this challenge. |

i really like this, but i do wish it was cropped to the edge of the broken pane - i find the second edge quite distracting. |

The concept is interesting. but the execution and composition could maybe be better... either more herbs, or colored background, or, well I'm not sure... |
