Great shot! For all of you who were wondering, there is only an online disc dog magazine called "The Disc DogEzine", none in print unfortuately. My viszla mix, Allie, and I are members of the Dallas Dog & Disc Club and can't wait to try out our new camera to get some action shots too!

Cool....it really is a magazine, GREAT....so is the shot! like the height in the shot but it might not play on a cover for that reason, but the fine detail out weighs that for me.

Brilliant shot. Nice to fit it into the challenge... From a magazine cover point of view - 4, from an action point of view - 10. You get 10 from me

Totally awesome!! Love how you captured the dog in full motion. DOF is cool too. Great job on getting this properly focussed: must be SLR camera. My favourite so far.

excellent action shot! nicely done. 8

A very cool shot. I do wish the dog was a bit lower on the page, though. Also, it's obvious that the blur was created in Photoshop. Nice job on a difficult mask, but the blur effect is plainly visible around the frisbee and legs. Use the cloning tools or history brush to remove that glow and no one will ever know. Good luck!

Great capture! the PS'd in background blur looks very unnatural however. The blur shows around the disc & dog, and the blur is constant even under the dog where it shold be in focus.

great capture. crop this for greater effect. The grass isn't necessary. Someday a digital camera wil be able to reproduce the color white. Can you put a red frisbie in the dog's mouth? jajaja

The background blur looks a little fake, but I am beinga little hypocritical in saying that because mine is too.

Nicely captured, although I'm a bit suspicious of the blurring here -- it doesn't look like a realistic depth of field to me, particularly since the ground under the dog is just as out of focus as the rest of the background.

The dog got some good air on that catch. Nice stop action. Maybe a little bright, but still a good picture.

super capture only it seems like the title of the mag will have to go on the bottom. Actually, I'd find that pretty unique and interesting. One of my favorites so far.
