 I was trying to convey the common misconception of how cold it is in Canada. Some people outside our country have this vision of Canadians living in igloos and having snow all year round. So this is supposed to be " A day at the beach for us Canadians"
The weather hasn't been harsh enough for what I had envisioned for this shot.So we will see how this goes.

Canada has beaches?? :-) Looks oversharpened. I think point would be made even if it were a bit soft.

what is stopping me from giving this any more than an 8 is the image just looks to "smooth" for a harsh environment.

nice shot, the red seems a bit oversaturated as I can barely make out the supported areas of the umbrella, the snowshoes almost look fake too. however, the color contrasts are great and this is certainly a harsh environment!
