| Really cool shot but I'd have to say it kinda gets over-staged by Neil Leifers Ali/Liston image in the background which IMO is the best sports shot ever taken. Still a Ribbon contender. Good Luck! |

| The shading around the eyes is not to my liking, but that is subjective. There is a nice capture of concentration and intimidation. The b&w adds depth. |

| Nice traditional boxing pose which no doubt the subject will love. The Ali poster adds a very nice touch. the ring ropes are a lot more subtle (in fact I wonder whether every one will see them) but again serve to add to the environment. Strong BW conversion - 8 |

| The picture and title work very well together. The background with Ali adds significantly to this picture and the overall shot is very well composed. What I find distracting is the black and white cutoff shirt. Boxing photos such as this are typically done in just the trunks and gloves, although I guess amateurs wear jerseys...you get an 8 from me, hopefully top ten for composition and orginiality |
