great face, great environment, and they work well together, just wish his face was larger in the frame

I would say this seems so unnatural, but I hate saying, "no pun intended"... but in this case, the light seems harsh, and the bright flourescent (?sp) is (to me at least) quite a distractor. But I love humor, so bump for that!

Well well, how unique! Everything about this shot screams "out there", as should any good shot in this challenge. Congrats, excellent portrait. Back to bump, an extra point for creativity. 8.

A little too contrasty, with harsh highlights, but funny and fits challenge well. Live long and prosper.

They guy looks a little stiff and it makes a little bit of an uneasy feeling.

This is fun! The environment definitely defines the subject. The subject is obviously serious about his environment.

Like the subject and the environment but imo a closer crop with less distractions would have been stronger.

Good job of immersing the man in his environment. It's ironic and empathetic at the same time.

Interesting character, you are really bang-on for this challenge! Couple of things I can critique are a) I would have removed that thing of earrings or whatever they are, from in front of the subject, b) have the guy step forward a bit if possible, so he is more prominent and not quite so overtaken by all the clutter, and c) decrease the contrast, as it is a little too strong for my taste. Again though, great subject AND environment, this is one of my faves.

LOL! Looks like he's seen a few UFOs. Glad area 51 is alive and well! Lighting a little flat, but fun shot. 7

While this is supposed to be environmental. Thsi shot still feels too cluttered. a tighter crop would still shot us his envirnment without it beeing so busy.

awesome. Almost want to crop it square to lose the ideas on the left of the alien. He looks like he might be wearing a human suit. 10+ best one I've seen in this challenge.

Haha, oh man thats great. The environment and the man seem to be made for each other. I don't usually like a busy image but I think it helps with the feeling here. Good job!
