A long time folks, But I am back...The two young people in the photo agreed to have their picture taken while eating chinese food in the resturant I to was eating. After I had finished my meal I opened my fortune cookie to find what I have used as the title, I belive it to be fitting

I don't like how they're just possed and doesn't capture their true nature.

Technically a good photo, with good composition and exposure, etc. I feel like the "environment" in this image is a little plain and doesn't tell us anything about the people.

I feel detached here, if only one of them was looking at camera it would be much more engaging.

This is an interesting photo to look at. My biggest problem is in believing that these two actually skateboard. I'm sure they do, but this shot seems like a board ad to me.

b/w conversion is a little flat, perspective is skewed, his hand is cropped. otherwise good portrait of the two young people

The shot it tilted and the black and white conversion is flat, whether it is because of lighting or maybe not enough contrast or curves. Overall, I don't see how this shot fits in with an environment portrait other than these two kids holding skate boards. Maybe one of them actually on or riding one of the boards would have made for a more captivating image...4

The minor CCW tilt on this is a bit uneasy. More angle to be artistic or none at all would have been better in my opinion. Regarding their environment, well structure usually are around them, but some railings, ramps or similar would help.

this is a very nice photo, but it doesn't seem like a portrait to me
