The lighting on this is really bad, the flower doesnt even appear white.

a bit unsharp or the dof is too shallow try the smae shot at F/8. Nice lighting though

Could the focus have been tighter? Also the colors seem unnaturally dark.

Nice job on getting the details in the white petals. As the petal patterns are not exactly symmetrical, would have liked a more off-set composition with more inclusion of the petals. Of course my recommendations, would most likely be irrelevant if your original intention was to focus on the green patterns. 7

That white just feels a bit grey to my old eyes. Otherwise certainly the pattern is there.

Nice capture! Nicely centered. Nice contrast. I do wish the DOF was a little broader. I think if outer part around the center was sharper it would take it up a notch.

A bit more light would probably help the textures and patterns show more clearly. It seems a bit drab, as it is.
