Cheese curls need to be more in focus. I can't decide what it is but needs something. Maybe a different background color.

Well chosen subject for the challenge, but poorly executed in my opinion. You need to get everything in focus and avoid overcropping and/or camera shake so that everything is crisp and clear. The can of soda probably could make the point of the image without the full glass next to it. Also, the point of view is too direct. Coming down at an angle of view on these subjects with a wider angle would have made the shot more interesting.

The focus is a bit too soft for my taste. I think it would look more appetizing and refreshing if the glass and can were covered with water droplets as if they'd been left outside on a hot, humid day. Nice arrangement, composition, and lighting.

Not quite sharp enough, don't like the cut off on the left.
could have been a winner. 6 for composition.

Looks a bit out of focus to me.

this is too blurry and it looks like an advertisment; sorry , but i don't think it belongs here

The arrangement of your still life is very nice and pleasing to the eye. I think if the focus was sharper it would make the picture even better.

Out of focus
03/25/2004 12:17:05 AM
needs more depth of field

The set up lacks something in composition. Good colors, but the focus is also a little soft.

A lot of orange, but out of focus and not bright enough.

Great composition but poor focus hurts this image. You might also consider changing the background to remove the grain and make it solid white. This image has real possibilities.

The focus could be a bit stronger here, I think.

Focus is really off on this... the overall picture would look better with increased contrast and saturation. Good try nevertheless!

needs USM desperately. perhaps a bit more depth of field (teh cheetohs are not in sharp focus) and the glass is abit noisy (the juice inside and background are too)
