Although the morning was a bit overcast - was able to enhance the subtle warmth of the feathers of these serene, beautiful birds.

The pattern here is probably more subtle than you think it is. You are probably going to some lower scores because some aren't going to see it, you may even get a few DNMC comments. That being said, I would crop this a bit more to "enhance" the pattern and make folks see it.

I know that even though the duck is holding that piece of grass and it was unavoidable and you aren't allowed to edit it out in basic, it would be so much better with that distraction. But nonetheless, it is a great picture, just too bad about the duck holding that grass.
