I finally bought myself a macro lens last week and thought to myself that it would help me much in the intimacy challenge. Well.... you just proved me wrong!!! Bravo. This is hilarious. You pulled it off perfectly.

Not the best DOF throughout the shot but to catch flies at it deserves a good vote, 7.

Get it on, bang a gong.... I'd be ok never seeing another mating pair of flies in my life...however, I love macro stuff so nice capture.

Bugs copulating doesn't really evoke the idea of "Intimacy" for me. With that being said, this is a pretty cool macro shot of two flies. I wish the focus and DOF was able to capture the flies more crisply.

It's not quite sharp enough to make this a perfect nature shot... could use a bit more DOF, but you got their eyes nicely.

I'm sorry, but I refuse to believe that there is intimacy between 2 flies. The picture is very well taken, but as far as the challenge goes it just doesnt do it for me.

To me, intimacy requires some sort of emotion, something insects lack. This might be more appropriate for an "instinct" challenge. Good macro shot anyway.
