 Shot RAW on an overcast day, inspired by a photo I saw at a show. In ACR, made adjustments in recovery, contrast, clarity, vibrance, saturation, and slightly in exposure.
Placed a leaf on a brick street (should have moved the cigarette butt), used circular polarizer.
In Photoshop, slight crop, shadow/highlight adjustments.

Like the leaf to break the patterns with another pattern and give scale to the bricks. Muted colors work well too.

Great detail, DOF, colors, composition, and the leaf is perfection. Too many patters in this challenge lack a captivating subject. Thanks for giving us something to look at.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I wish the leaf weren't there. For me, it's distracting from the pattern of the bricks, which appeal to me more than the pattern on the leaf. But great colors, textures and composition, of course.
