It's a wonderful photo - a little of a stretch with the patterns in my opinion, but this was caught beautifully. 9 from me.

This reminds me, the "Speed Racer" movie is opening soon. My second childhood has started. Vroom!!

WOW!!!! This shot is head's and shoulders above the rest of the field in technique and presentation. The colors are brilliant, the focus is spot on, there is no drift. Everything that is here, is here for a reason. I would suggest tilting the other direction. Trick the eye into following gravity to hint at more speed. My biggest problem, is this a pattern? Is a diagonal line a pattern, not in the geometric sense, but this isn't about geometetry. Is the car a pattern, in the abstract...yes, but this shot is certainly not an abstract. The wheels are a pattern, but they are obviously not the subject. I am so confused about what to do with this. It most certainly does not deserve DNMC, because intrepretation is loose and vague, but is this a 10 (technically, absolutely)?

Lines, yes. But a pattern? I don't see it, sorry. Great shot nonetheless, it just doesn't meet the subject in my opinion. -5

Tremendous shot! I guess I can see some patters if I look hard, it certainly doesn't communicate "Patterns" when I look at it.

Exceptional panning work. Very well taken, pity about whatever the box is on the top right.

I feel most of the pattern should have been in the diagonal lines like the title suggests, but I feel the racing car takes your attention away from the pattern, good luck

Wow, i'm not sure about pattern but this would have won panning hands down.
