Animals feeding does not really evoke "Intimacy" for me. But then again, I grew up in the city and this may be my own personal limitation. It would work for me if the lamb was cuddling down to sleep next to the mother. I think this photo would do better with a POV angle down lower - more from the eye level of the animals.

The flash lighting makes this a bit flat to me... also I'd like to see more of Mom's back instead of the empty straw if you have to choose.

Good concept... it captures intimacy. The composition it a little haphazard... maybe s lower angle with shallow DoF, or maybe capture a close up of just the nose on the tail or baby's face. Lighting looks like on-camera flash which is a bit harsh.
