 Just happened upon my baby basking in the new Spring sunshine streaming thru my bedroom window. I thought this embodies WARM by every aspect of word... from the colors surrounding her, the sun coming down on her, to just the warmth of the tones in her fur. Plus the over all feel of the pose says Awww Warm.

I did a basic crop and re-size on this no tone adjustments needed. Added small border.

I hope I did everything right for my first challenge Please Let me know honestly what ya think!! I can only get better from the truth.

Maybe a little soft, which I don't mind, but I like to see this with a stronger focus.

Also take a lot of different compositions next time, from all angles, as I feel in this one I am looking everywhere foe a focus point with this image.

I hope this helps, but again enjoy what you do, and keeping on taking photographs, as this is one way or improving your skills.

Perhaps a little tighter crop would have been beneficial as I find the brighness of the top fringe of fur distracting. It makes the whole picture feel more out of focus as it catches my attention.

Awww. This kitty needs a scratch under the chin. It's really cute, but I'm afraid it comes across as just a good snapshot.

:-) Sorry. Couldn't resist after your post in the forums. Pretty easy to know which photo is your's considering there is only one cat photo in this challenge.

Very cute photo BTW. Have a couple of these creatures at home myself. Based on knowing who's this is, I'm abstaining from voting. As is, I'd give it a 5 or 6. Could be sharpened a tad, and maybe a slight contrast boost.
