| Love the textures and details of this flower composition. The white backdrop allows the flower to pop visually so we can fully appreciate those textures & details. This is very beautiful work - it reminds me of the radiographs of flowers & plants that Steven N. Meyers does. |

Woah...Stands back and applauds
On DPC we get to see a lot of flower shots and sometimes despute their beauty they get a bit samey...This on the other hand is something very different and very beautiful
I love the high key and the muted colours and the sharpness of the petal veins and the 'hairs' on the underside of the flower are amazing
What a way to celebrate you selection as photographer of the week - I bet your mum loves this one |

OMG ALICIA .. this is so beautiful .. congratulations on a brilliant score in the free study 6.4 .. and 41 out'v 499 .. WOW .. !!!
i didnt look at the other entries in the free study in voting and only the first 10 or 20 after rollover .. cant remember !! .... so i dont know wot the competition was like, but its usually pretty fierce .. so i think we both did good .. :):)xx
