 I bought this fantail goldfish just for this challenge, but only on the condition that my mother (who I was visiting at the time) would continue to keep it. She agreed, and said she had been thinking of getting a fish for a while. I'm afraid this will get voted down because of the mixed warm and cool colors. I decided to enter it anyway because I like the shot so much. Shot in natural light and two incandescent lamps.

This is lovely! The more I look at it, the more things I find interesting. The fish is perfectly placed, looking out of his bowl longingly, the colors in the cloth are all warm and fit the challenge perfectly, and the contrast in texture between the smooth bowl and the cloth is great too. Great job!

boy with a title like that the goldfish does look sad. what about a tighter vertical crop so the fish wasn't so centered--the bowl is a bit visually heavy.
