This is just simple and yet really, really cool. I like the processing and even the grain, which I normally do not like. |

Nice high contrast image - the pear becomes something dark and mysterious |

This perfectly illustrated the feeling of melancholy and yet hope to me! It is wonderful how you can take the simplest of objects and scenes and turn it into such a moving image!! |

Wow, Judy. Such an emotive piece! Even without the verse there is such feeling in this. The verse adds even more meaning. Good use of natural lighting to create a wonderful tonality. |

I like the way the little blind pull down thingy, rhymes the shape and lighting of the pear! Excellent light and process! : ) |

The words help bring the pear to life. It does seem to be hunched over gazing out the window. |

I love the composition, especially the framing of this fine dramatic still like image..... |

Very nice, the lighting is just wonderful and I really like the drops of water on the window. After the attention the pear gets, they lead your eye to the outside. |

Nice work with the light -- I really like how it outlines the fruit and the bobble on the curtain cord. Good words, too. |

Before I read the lyrics you posted underneath, the very first word that entered my mind upon viewing this image was "melancholy." For real. :) |

This is SUBLIME! I love the lusciousness of the size of the pair, and how it somehow looks mournfull. |

Lovely, Judy - simply lovely. And the picture matches the words just perfectly, though I suspect you did that on purpose. Love the words, too. |

I love the B&W and the lighting in this. Is that frost or ice on the window? Whatever it is it gives a great effect. And once again the words go so well with the photo. |

Wow! That is STRONG! I love it! I can see this as a big poster, with the poem written on that right window pane side. This really grabs me. The verse, and the perfect photo that goes with it. You truly are THE BOMB!

I really like this. I think it is because it is artsy, B/W, great composition and its different. I am not great with words just believe me when I say this is really nice. Oh, and I like the grainy feel to it. |
