A Barrett Browning Narcissus, picked up and revived after a rainstorm (the water makes them flop face down on the ground). I did clean it up and spritz it ;-) I like this angle to show off the rather compact ruffled cup on this particular type of daffodil. The flower normally is perpindicular to the ground but I propped it on some leaves and bent the stem a bit to get it to face up.
This variety also lent itself well to being interesting when centered without feeling off-kilter, as opposed to the more prominently cupped varieties or those that have multiple blooms on one stem. I do have a lot of nice shots of my various daffodils now, though; at least those that have bloomed thus far. Still have a couple more varieties to go.
PP - converted from RAW, rotated, cropped, white balance, levels, increased saturation on yellow/green, increased overall saturation slightly (had to be careful not to get bright orange haloes), decreased gamma, increased contrast, resized, sharpened with noise reduction. |

| Focus need a bit of sharness and the lighting needs to compliment it a bit more. nice idea though. |
