I took this photo using sea shells and plastic shards as my scenery. I used the shells to mimmic mountains and I used the different colors of plastic as the grass and water. The blue background was a piece of blue burlap. I tried to capture the curve of a river in this shot and I hope that I am not the only one who can see it! lol.

Very nice.

More DOF is needed for starters. Maybe a toy boat or something would have added interest.

Nice an colourful, I like the macro approach here. I do think the short DOF is perhaps not an asset here however as it would be nice to see the background a little clearer and it may give it more of a landscape "feel".

Good leading lines through this! The dof may be just a touch too tight, but a clever entry all the same :)

I like this. I think it may have benefitted from a little more DOF and some more subtle side lighting.

I feel your dof's too tight here...

Interesting idea, but the extreme DOF and macro make it difficult to see the "scene." Good color.

The river should be in focus most of the way (3/4) at least. The white, bright upper corner is distracting a little.

For me, had there been a miniature boat or people or something else for additional interest, I would have scored it higher.

I wish the depth of field was a bit bigger.

A bit more depth of field would have been nice, but a good picture anyway
