 This is out of my element as I really don't do a lot with fast shutter speeds. I started a thread and got some good advice about freezing water. While njsabs2323 was kind enough to offer to loan me her strobes, I didn't have time to use them (worked all weekend refinishing my deck...ugh). I pulled my setup out into the bright sunlight and shot at 1/8000th. The drops are coming from a plastic container with pinholes punched in the bottom. I wish there were more, but I didn't want to overdo it with a hose.

Biggest processing is lots of cloning at the bottom to clean up the glass and the blue background.

I doubt this will be Top 10, but I had fun doing something different.

I'm always amazed at what you enter. Even when your entries "bomb", those are scores in the 6's!

I love the cool and crisp blue tone. This is such a fresh picture. Beautiful catch of the drops.

Too bad about the shadow, pretty cool idea. I think it would be even cooler w/o the glass.

bottom 1/3 needs to be more 'polished'... the shadow should be better balanced and there are some white highlights in the bottom left that are distracting, also there is a subtle reflection of the room off the glass. (Top half is perfect though) Nice idea and execution is almost there... 7
