 The negative conversion caused a slight loss in details.. but I still like the composition.. and without the conversion the pose is lost so this technique helps in bringing that in focus.
This is one of those flying things (meaning no clue what it is) It's very very tiny.. as small as a fly.. It's all black and red.. It's actually sitting on a wall so the pic's vertically taken..

Need better focus and detail. Great placement of subject, though. Nice minimal composition.

Too bad you couldn't clone out the specs. Maybe you could get rid of much of them by cropping tighter. Nice insect shot.

Closer crop would have made this much more a wow picture! 6 as is, 8 or 9 closer crop, imo, as long as details showed.
