Managed to sneak out for a quick afternoon walk out to the headlands in the state park near my house; set up a tripod and shot some pics in the late afternoon sun, but before it got too low in the horizon to turn into a sunset shot.
HDR from three RAW images in Photmatix, processed to BW in PSE 5.0. Sh/hilite, levels, big contrast boost, dual hue/sat layers with color channel lightness adjustments, high pass filter, resize, USM, neat image, gauss blur, bump brightness, border, s4w.
Played around in photomatix a bit with this one, and ended up going with the BW version because the color one looked too processed to my eye.
