Taken from across Lake Michigan in Indiana. I used every bit of PS magic I know to get this one to this point. Considering how the original looked, I think it turned out OK:

That was magic! Incredible job making this 'scape jump off the page. I'd also like to it with the waves as in the original. They kind of add perspective and a little motion.

Awesome pp'ing - the result is very good. This would have been good for the pollution challenge as it looks like smog city.

I have to agree that you did some good work here. The cloud bank in the background is very good. Plus I like the conversion to B/W/

that cloud is awesome! Lovely PP; I would think about cropping tighter on the right to really encapsulate the city
I used to go to Chicago on business..it is a great little town

Holy cow! Your post-processing skills are great! It's absolutely incredible what people can do to "spruce-up" images. Wonderful job! (I love Chicago)

Hey Ken - you certainly tweaked this a bit - amazing difference in clarity form the original - great processing

Wow, what great processing!!! That's a great view, too. I have never been there...actually, I've never been north of Arkansas on the east side of the US, so I travel vicariously through photos. Thanks for this little trip! :)

I think you did some good work here. I love how the big city now looks so small from this perspective.
