Good photo. I appreciate the perspective you provided of the long hall... Where is this?

I love this photo - great sense of distance.

your capture of the lighting is great

This is a picture that I wish I had taken. Very well done.

Would've given it a higher rating in the architecture challenge

creepy and damp...makes me not want to walk down the hall to find out what's behind that doorway.
04/13/2002 01:31:00 PM
Great composition. I think I would have liked it better without seeing the arch in the top of the picture.
04/11/2002 03:44:00 PM
Nice shot though wish there was more color to it.
04/10/2002 12:42:00 PM
Ir's too bad you didn't get the arch to line up perfectly with the edges of the photo!

I really like the effect that the windows have in creating a repeating series of shadow and light deep into the picture but what is at the end of the hall is a litte distracting with the door off center.
04/09/2002 03:14:00 PM
I think you should have cropped out the part window on the left hand side.
04/09/2002 03:12:00 PM
Good picture. :)

Very cool!!! Nice even lighting the whole way back. Excellent job.
04/09/2002 11:34:00 AM
if you had done a darker exposure you would have intensified the light coming in the sidewindows, which are to me the most interesting part of this image.

Simply Wonderful! I love this as it is....well done!

Great shot. Perfect lighting

Pretty good, but I would have liked brighter colors.

nice archway, I would have taken one step back to get more of that first window, otherwise good shot!

I don't know if this is possible or not, but I'm wondering if the light ever comes in those windows to throw either a reflection or a shadow on the opposite wall.

good shot, little dark, but I like it.

Image has lost its 'punch' you've downgraded it to 53Kb - you must take advantage of the maximum 150Kb allowed to compete against the 'big boys' who are restricted to 640x480 150Kb.
04/08/2002 04:52:00 PM
ohhhh nice !!!!! I really like this!
04/08/2002 04:23:00 PM
this shot is very simple, but i love the row of windows and the way they cast the light on the other wall. i think the shot is too centered, although if you move off to one side (preferably the right), you might lose that effect that i like. nice shot, though.

The curve of the roof sets off the straight lines of the perspective, but it feels like the lines dominate more than they should.
04/08/2002 03:52:00 PM
Great shot.

Nicely done photo and a good representation of the challenge.
04/08/2002 12:22:00 PM
This is another example of a 'curve' photo where the straight lines seem to distract me from the curve subject of the challenge.

Nice, needs a person/ shadow at the far end to give your eye a reward for following all that way in!
04/08/2002 01:01:00 AM
Nice lighting effect.
