The subtle motion blur is exquisite, the dark and grainy tonal fluting in the background deliciously compliments the controlled exposure of highlights. I would have liked to see the full neck of the guitar included, but, hell, this is a gorgeous shot even without it.

Great choice of subject. Some entries are subjects in motion just for the sake of the motion, as opposed to subjects that are enhanced by motion. I have always been amazed by the speed of a string musician's hands, and so capturing this motion really accentuates that. Very nice!

nicely done. i love the subtlety of this entry. the b/w is a good choice and the graininess (intentional?) gives it a photojournalistic feel. good job.
