This is my second entry to DPchallenge and I'm hoping to get a good score! I got my inspiration from KarenNfld's, , I thought it was a really cool idea and image so I set out to make my own... but with a personal twist of course! I know I may get bashed on my editing/cloning but I only just got CS3 (never used photoshop before) and I'm still learning the ropes! Oh and how do you create a classic black border around your image? Thanks to everyone!

Evan!

PS Raw Conversion, crop, clone out some reflections, dodge/burn, unsharpen mask, scale down, save for web.

PPS Constructive criticism is much appreciated!

Very nice colours and texture at the same time - pleasant to look at and engaging.

neat colors, not exactly what it is a picture of, but its very interesting. One problem I have with it is that it lacks a subject. It needs something to catch the viewers eye and keep it there. Just my opinion, hope these comments were helpful, sorry it took so long to get around to.

I assume this is a microwaved CD? I don't think I've seen one that bubbled up like that before so from a curiosity standpoint it's pretty cool. So good job adding a new spin on it. One thing I noticed when I messed around with this concept a while back was when I used a cd with an all black print on one side after it was cooked you could shine a light from underneath it would produce a very contrasty b/w look. You may want to try that if you haven't already.

Very pretty. Reminds me of a Japanese piece with the lines looking like branches.

Not sure what this is showing, perhaps the shot became far too abstract
