I really like the selective desat in this image, the blues really make this image pop. Perhaps a bit overtoned but cool none the lessI also like the feel of depth given by the composition. |

sometimes selective desat seems a bit too gimmicky - but it works pretty well here - i just wonder if the impact would have been better if the fifth boat in the shadows was lit a bit better |

Is this selective desat legal in basic editing? Maybe you're using a Canon S3 or S5 with color selection? The boats really stand out. |

Not a fan of such an intense shade of blue with all the other color removed. I admit it is odd looking which was probably the point. I had to look twice to see the fifth boat which kind of defeats the "odd" theme as the "even" number of boats is really the main subject of the photo. |
