 A mental picture, if you will:

Buttercups on the side of the road...camera on the ground, tilted slightly up...me looking like an idiot on the ground on the side of the road, and getting honked at by people passing by.

The things we do in the name of photography! :)

beautiful laurie .. just love those two unfurled ones looking towards the ground & the design the make .. and i'm picturing you on the side of the road taking this photograph .. the things we do eh??!! .. great result that i hope makes up for your embarrassment !!!..lol lol ..:)

Awesome, I can picture it now. Just like myself when I took my marble for a hike at a nature park. I was lucky no one caught me. Your prespective in my opinion was worth it. Lovely flowers with great detail. Thanks for sharing.

Tee heee, that's the first thing I thought of when I saw this wayyy cool photo. "I wish I had a photo of Laurie getting this photo"

But it was so worth it. This is such a pretty spring photo. And I love the look up. The space in the sky adds so much to the look of this. It reminds me of when I was a kid, laying on the grass looking up at the massive sky, feeling so small but safe :)
