I like the strands of hay hanging in the mane. And I like the windows in the background. They balance the heavy close up of the subject. I like the b&w conversion -- nice contrast and light. |

the perspective and close crop really emphasizes the long noise on these noble beasts
the choice of b/w is smart here to emphasize the tones and textures
i agree that the mouth missing is a bit unfortunate - but you did capture one great eye! |

I like the close in angle but personally don't like the mouth missing, maybe an even tighter crop as it feels like it's only just been cut off. Lighting works well and the fact it's not washed out the windows is good |
