| Pretty colors and good DOF. I think composition wise I would have tried to get the entire eye showing between the bars. |

when i walk into a pet shop and see the puppies and kittens i feel anxious .. i play out scenarios in my head about their future .. being a bit of a negative thinker my mind goes to places i'd rather not be ..
there's a program in oz called animal rescue .. it shows our RSPCA (royal society for prevention of cruelty to animals) and the work they do rescuing animals from places where they have been either abused or just not looked after .. i watched a bit of one show but it upset me so much that i cant watch it anymore .. animal rescue ..
and going to the zoo i find upsetting as well, altho i'll force myself just for the excellent photographic opportunities !!!
i love this photograph anne for the poignancy .. the way the bird is looking out .. he looks hopeful .. weird how we can invest creatures with human characteristics .. his colouring is beautiful .. i hope he find a good home . ..:) |

Love the DOF and the wild color of the cute bird. Works really well against the dull gray of the prison bars. lol!
