 today we were sitting outside and someone noticed this little grasshopper on a piece of wood that greg was going to use for a bookshelf .. of course i ran in to get my camera and took a few photographs of him .. i then put him in the grass and took some more .. !!
used an overlay of a dandelion that i photographed the other day .

this is the same grasshopper after i'd moved him to a safer place in the grass .. i reckon he's looking a lot happier, he was looking a bit anxious on the wood .. !!

Fabulous shot - the overlay was inspired and gives a wonderful 'organic' starburst effect.

I love the direct stare - it makes it look really up close and personal.

Dang!! That is downright magical! He does look kinda cute. Like you can almost imagine those droopy eyes -- like basset hound eyes, huh?
