Greetings from the critique club!
Nice leading lines in this with great colors. I'm not sure if I like the extra kites in the background however I don't think they are that much of a detraction. If anything they help give us a sense of scale. Nice sky but it looks noisy for some unknown reason. (Oversharpening maybe?)
I would have been tempted to rotate the image so that the string came out of the corner buts thats just being nit-picky. As it is its a simple pleasing composition that fits the subject well.
The challenge: There were a few kites in this challenge so not entirely original however it wasn't done to do death either.

Kites are GOOD! Your's is a little bigger than mine. I like seeing the other kites in the background also. They're a little distracting but in a good way.
My eyes follow the string from the top right down to the lower left. Then can go up to the three above and lastly to complete a figure 8 in the image to end up on the little blue kite in the lower right-hand corner. Nicely done -BB |

| I am a bit thrown off by the rotation of this image. I would expect the line of kites to go from the bottom up as opposed to top done. I am still debating as to whether it is simply disorienting or an interesting perspective that I have yet to open my mind to. I will pass on voting and come back to it later with a fresh mind. |
