 After getting a PM from SandyP about her animal shots, I decided to get an annual pass to the local zoo so we can visit whenever we like. We're out at the lake several times a week and the zoo is just across the street.

After shooting almost 300 pictures and only having a few keepers, I know how hard it is to get a decent animal picture.

Ken, WOW! This is do DIE for!!! Man! The detail and lighting -- plus the expression and personality of the bird are amazing. You NAILED it!

You won't be sorry you can go to your zoo any time you want. There are so many opportunities to get cool photos at a zoo -- even beyond animals. People. Plants. Bugs.

This is spectacular!!! THANK YOU for sharing it -- and inspiring me!!

I adore the crowned cranes...they are such cool birds. So photogenic! Great shot...excellent detail. :)
